Human in the loop, or why do you need to be behind AI and your website!

Human in the loop, or why do you need to be behind AI and your website!

Now it doesn't matter what you do; there's a good chance you're using some kind of AL device. You e-mail him, you ask him for an idea, you generate a picture, or you're looking at a contract. But let's be honest do you know how the device you use actually works every day? Do you know his actual limitations? Do you know when you can trust him and when you can't?

Even if you don't answer, don't be scared because you're not alone with this. Most people use artificial intelligence as a black box: they write something in it on one side, something comes out on the other side, and they just hope it's good and reliable, which they get as an answer. The only more dangerous situation is when someone blindly trusts answers. In this article, we're going to go through A.I. and L.L.M., how it's really worth working with, where the border is, and why you're always going to be needed, man, at the end of decisions. This last point is not only generally true, but very specifically, especially when it comes to your own business website!

What's the difference between Al and machine learning?

Artificial intelligence (AI) is a wider concept: we classify any device that performs tasks related to human intelligence, whether it is writing an e-mail or planning a route. But how the AI knows what to do is another question: this is machine learning.

Machine learning is a technique used by a system to recognize patterns in data independently, without being programmed separately for every possible occasion. Imagine that zebras and horses must be distinguished by a system: people "teach" the difference based on thousands of images, and the model, over time, recognizes typical patterns such as stripping.

There are three main approaches

  • Supervision: learning from pre-structured data by humans, along with specific, predefined objectives.
  • Unsupervised learning: draws patterns from unlabelled data without telling him exactly what to look for.
  • Confirmation learning: on a trial-error basis, with a reward system with continuous feedback, the algorithm refines its behaviour.

Why do you care? Because the performance of AI depends directly on what data and method you learned. It's also the basis for understanding why it's not perfect and why it can't replace your own judgment..

Don't just use the AL, work with it in sync

Most people use AL for one-off tasks: they write an e-mail with it, and then they move on. But the real value is cooperation there's a back and forth conversation where you gradually refine the work.

Three areas where this could work especially well..

  1. System and understanding of information: you can ask him to break down complicated materials, highlight relevant points, point out the main implications that you may not have noticed.
  2. Create new things: aI is an excellent creative partner: writing text, visualizing data, generating ideas, but the direction always comes from you.
  3. Refining your work: ask him to review your text, find a mistake, or make your presentation more convincing.

The point is, you stay on the wheel. AI gives options and perspectives, but your own context and judgment decide which proposal brings you closer to your personal goal.

Important warning: never share sensitive information: credit card number, personal identification, business secret, password, etc. Before you enter something into a prompt, ask yourself the following two questions: 1.) Is there anything in the currently shared data that anyone expects me to keep secret? 2.) Can the information published be abused by a third party if you have it?

What very few people are talking about is the real limits of AI in 2026..

Here comes the part that most people miss, which is what decides whether or not the device is being used responsibly?

Torture (bias): If the training data is distorted, incomplete or reflects social prejudices, the model can return this to its answers. For example, when you ask for a picture of an office, the system is liable to generate a skyscraper, because the teaching data typically comes from large-city business quarters. Your job is to direct the output in the real, balanced direction with precise context and subsequent correction questions.

Knowledge cutoff: Each model has a point as long as its teacher's data spreads. What happened after that, you don't know about the model's "inner knowledge" unless you're looking for it live. Therefore, always check fresh time-bound information from a reliable external source.

Drift, i.e. outdatedthere are two ways to apply..

  • Time drift: the model is becoming less accurate as we move away from the time of teaching.
  • Behavioral drift: developers update the model and change the tone, format, style, even the same questions.

The solution is simple: give a fresh, current context in your prompts, start a new conversation on a new subject, and always make it clear.

How do you push effectively? The three C

If you want a better answer, follow these three principles:

  • Be concise: simple, short prompt requires less processing and is usually more accurate.
  • Be clear: avoid ambiguous and / or subjective requests like "make it better," "make it better" etc. - instead, always give me a specific direction.
  • Be consistent: once you call something "table," don't switch to "data" or "matrix" in the same conversation. What you once labeled, leave in its original form for easier pattern recognition.

Finally evaluate the answerwhether it is precisely distorted, relevant or consistent until the end?

If the result does not satisfy you, go ahead, go again: expand the prompt with additional details, or break the task into smaller steps or add specific restrictions.

Tips for more powerful prompts

A few terms that can help a lot in the process..

  • "Think step by step."
  • "Write this for the [target audience] in [given]."
  • "Criticize this from the perspective of a [role]."
  • "Give me three different versions of this."
  • "Explain further point 2."

For larger, more complex tasks it is worth prompt chainingel: to divide the task into smaller, interdependent steps in the same conversation where one answer will be the basis for the next question. This is where the simple AI chat machine becomes a real thinking partner.

Not just text but multimodal

Today, you can't just work with words. M multimodal it means that you can give the AL a picture, sound, video as context, so you can not only explain in writing what you want, you can show it visually or record it as a voice message.

A.I. Agents: when artificial intelligence already acts

The latest experience that AI will not only respond but also, if required, even carry out multi-step tasks independently with your supervision and approval. An AL agent is built from three elements:

  • Model: decide what steps to achieve the goal.
  • Eligibility: determine what you can access (e.g. read incoming mail only).
  • Purpose: a wider task to achieve, such as "Organize Q3 kick-off meeting."

The agent then works in one cycle: analyse, act, observe the result, then reanalyse until the target is properly achieved.

Two aspects are particularly important: (1) the riskif something goes wrong and (2) how reversible the error which it may cause. Saving a sketch between drafts can be easily reversed. A public posting on a social media site isn't that easy. Remember, the greater the stakes, the closer human supervision is required.

Responsible for AL use: ACT checklist

Before you release anything that was made with Al's help, make sure you run through these three steps..

A.) Ask yourself: Is this really for Al? Is it safe for me to share this data with him? Do I keep my company's rules of operation? Is the procedure against the law?

C.) Check (Check output): Is it accurate? Is it cake? Is it appropriate for the target audience and the tone? Did you really add your own expertise? Were you busy enough to go through "output"?

T.) Tell me if you used AL: Be transparent about where and how you used Al and follow your company's relevant guidelines!

It's not unnecessary bureaucracy, it's professional integrity. And this is exactly where many entrepreneurs stumble when leaving their own online presence, their website, solely to an AIL generator.

Quick practical example: what can this look like every day?

Let's say you're a small entrepreneur and you want to start a marketing campaign. Instead of trying a single push ("Write me a campaign"), you work with a prompt chain:

  1. First, you ask Al to analyze your competitors' latest campaigns and highlight what worked for them.
  2. And then, based on the results, you ask him to develop three different advertising concepts tailored to your target audience.
  3. Finally, you ask for an action plan and concrete text proposals for the selected idea.

Every step, you decide what goes into the next round, Al only gives you the raw material, strategy and final approval. This is exactly the "human in the loop" in practice: you don't work for AI, you work for AI, and at every critical point, you control it.

The same logic applies even if you generate an image for a social media post, or if you trust an AL agent to organize your client mail: the device accelerates, but the responsibility, context and final decision can't be taken off your shoulders even with today's amazing developments. Control and real retrieval are key!

Why not just the AI where most of it still depends, which is your website?

So far, we were talking about how to use a chat AL device responsibly in your daily work. But there is an area where the concept of "human in the loop" is not just a recommendation, but a direct business bet: this is your business website.

In a few moments, a website can be thrown together. Tempting, cheap, fast. But think, who's watching when the site stops at night? Who answers when a client has a technical problem? Who understands your market so much that they know when a simple introduction page is enough and when do you need a web store or custom development? A Chatbot can't answer these questions properly because he doesn't really know you or know your business or take any responsibility for the outcome.

As explained in detail in a previous entry, between AL-generated websites and a solution built by experts there are many key differences: continuous supervision, live customer service, real strategy, search optimisation, and not least responsibility.

AI is an excellent tool. But he's not a professional, and he doesn't want to be. He gives an idea, accelerates, generates; but strategic decisions, supervision, the number of guarantees can only be given by one person or a company. That is precisely why it is also worth leaving your website to a team where AI is just a tool in the hands of experts, not an almighty promise to replace them.
